McCoy Farm and Gardens Christmas Tree Lighting
McCoy Farm & Gardens invites all our Walden’s Ridge neighbors as we continue the Bachman McCoy family tradition of lighting a big Christmas tree for the whole mountain to enjoy. The Bachman McCoy House will be open at 5:00 pm and Santa will arrive about 5:15 pm. Shop McCoy merchandise and other vendors, make an ornament, and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate served by our elected officials. Pizza will be available for sale. The tree will be lit at 6:00 pm. Parking will be available at the Horse Ring Parking Lot and weather permitting, the Glade along Anderson Pike.

Signal Mountain Police & Fire Food Drive
Signal Mountain Fire and Police Departments are hosting their 6th Annual FOOD DRIVE in support of Signal Mountain Social Services Food Pantry. We will be collecting CANNED GOODS such as soup, meats, veggies, fruits, pastas and other non-perishables such as spaghetti sauce, muffin mix, instant mashed potatoes, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly and breakfast cereals that will help with this year's Christmas baskets. As you're shopping for your holiday meals this year, consider a buying a few extra items and donating them on November 16th.
Both SMFD Fire Stations will have a bay open allowing anyone that wishes to donate, regardless of the weather, to drive through and hand off their items. If you’re unable to make the event date, items can be dropped off at either SMFD Fire Station throughout the week prior to the 16th

Lisa Garbee will lead the festivities—songs, stories, crafts, and meeting new friends. With a few exceptions for holidays, Storytime will take place every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. until the end of May. We'll always plan to meet on the library's lower level. Storytime is free of charge and open to everyone—although toddlers remain the target audience.
2024 Signal Mountain Library Community Art Show
The Signal Mountain Library will host a community art show on Thursday, November 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., generously supported by our friend Courtney Malone. We encourage artists of all ages to participate, giving everyone the chance to get involved. The theme for all artwork is 'Signal Mountain Community.' We can't wait to see your creations!

Signal Mountain Library Kids Halloween Party
On Thursday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the Signal Mountain Library will host on the back patio a fun Halloween party for children of all ages. They will read stories, enjoy music and crafts, as well as some delicious treats. Costumes encouraged!
Also, if you're unable to attend but would still like to trick-or-treat earlier in the day, all spooky visitors are welcome starting at noon.

Children's Author Sue Carol Elvin at Signal Mountain Library
On Saturday, October 26, at 12:00 p.m. the Signal Mountain Library will host a presentation by local writer Sue Carol Elvin, author of The Memory Guardians: The House on Stone Street. Elvin will read excerpts from her book. She describes the story as follows: “Two spirits, Boogery Mungo and Umbriago (Boo and Iago), are assigned to the attic of a 120-year-old house to capture and absorb memories over time from the day the house was built. These Memory Guardians share wonderful stories of family love and challenging times on Stone Street.”

Fall Family Night
Join a fun-filled evening under the stars at Dialed-In Chiropractic’s Fall Family Movie Night! The event starts at 6:30 PM, with the movie beginning at 7:30 PM. They will be showing the movie, Hocus Pocus, shown on an outdoor movie screen and serving delicious cider and treats from the ice cream sundae bar. Enjoy yard games and activities before the movie starts. This is a free event, and everyone is welcome! Don't forget to bring your chairs or blankets to sit on while you watch the movie.
SMPD/ SMFD Cornhole Tournament
Signal Mountain Fire and Police will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser. The cost is $40 per team and registration is open until 11am, October 5th. All proceeds will go to support the Signal Mountain Social Service Programs that are used to help those in need within our community.
Check-in and outstanding entry fee payment will be from 11am - 11:45, allowing for warm-up prior to the Tournament start at Noon.

Oktoberfest
Join the celebration of German heritage at the Mountain Arts Community Center on Signal Mountain for Oktoberfest on October 5th from 10am to 7pm! Enjoy food stalls offering bratwurst and pretzels, live music, dancing, beer tasting, and family-friendly activities.

Signal Mountain Annual Labor Day Coin Dive
The Signal Mountain Town Pool will host its annual Labor Day Coin Dive on Monday, September 2nd. The pool will open at 10:00 AM, and the coin dive will begin at 10:30 AM that morning. After the coin dive is completed, the pool will remain open until 9:00 PM in the evening. This is the final day of the 2024 pool season so make sure you don’t miss it! If you’re interested in contributing to the coin dive fund prior to Monday, there will be a donation jar for coins setup at the front desk of the pool on both Saturday and Sunday.
